Fair Usage Policyfor HeavenCloud.

This Fair Usage Policy (FUP) applies to all HeavenCloud hosting, including VPS, bot hosting, Lavalink hosting and game servers.

No over-allocation: we do not oversell host nodes. RAM is allocated 1:1 with KVM and no memory ballooning, and NVMe storage is provisioned for your plan. Plans with dedicated cores keep those cores for you; plans sold as a CPU percentage or as shared vCores share a core within that limit. The rules below keep every customer on a node fast.

Every paid plan comes with a set amount of CPU, RAM, storage and bandwidth. How you may use the CPU depends on the type of plan:

• RAM: stay within the RAM on your plan. A process that keeps running out of memory, or that leans on swap all the time, slows the whole node. Restart or fix it, or move to a bigger plan.
• Network: use the port speed listed on your plan. See "Bandwidth and network" below.
• Need more? If your server genuinely needs full CPU all the time, choose a plan with dedicated cores. We are happy to help you pick one.

Storage is for running your services. Keep your files, databases, logs and backups within the disk space on your plan.

Constant disk usage is not allowed. Workloads that keep the disk busy reading or writing non-stop, hour after hour, slow down every other server on the same storage. Examples:

• disk benchmarks or stress tests left running
• plotting or proof-of-space mining (for example Chia)
• seeding torrents or running a public file mirror
• scripts or logs that write to disk in an endless loop
• backups scheduled every few minutes, or one backup job that never finishes
• using the server only as backup or cold storage for other machines

Backups: schedule them at sensible times (for example a few times a day, not every few minutes), keep only the copies you need, and delete old archives so they stay within your plan's storage. On Minecraft servers, world backups count towards your disk space too.

If your disk use is affecting other customers, we contact you first and explain what we saw. If it continues, we may limit disk speed for that service until it is fixed.

Plans marked unmetered give you a generous allowance for normal hosting. Unmetered does not mean unlimited. Using a disproportionate amount of bandwidth, for example by running public file-sharing services, open proxies or pirated streaming, is not allowed and can lead to throttling or suspension.

On all HeavenCloud services you must not:

• mine cryptocurrency, unless your plan clearly says it is allowed
• run open proxies or TOR exit nodes
• spread malware or spam, or take part in DDoS attacks or botnets
• host phishing pages or illegal content
• scan or run vulnerability checks against networks you do not own

Free plans have limited resources. You can use them for production, business and enterprise bots within those resources, but not for resource-heavy applications or to get around paid plan limits.

• One free service per person or organisation. Extra accounts made to hoard free servers will be closed.
• Free bot hosting must be renewed in the control panel every 7 days. If you do not renew within 7 days, the server is paused after a 24-hour grace period and deleted 2 days after that.
• There is no backup, restore or SLA on free community services. Free hosting runs on a limited budget, and backing up every free server would need about 5 TB of extra disk that we cannot rent right now. Keep your own copies.

Important distinction: Automated lifecycle expiration applies ONLY to unrenewed Free Tier containers. Paid customers have guaranteed continuous data persistence, zero arbitrary data loss, and RAID NVMe storage redundancy throughout active billing.

If your server keeps going over these limits, such as sustained CPU on a shared plan, constant disk usage or repeated out-of-memory crashes, and it slows down other customers, we contact you first and suggest optimizations or a better-fitting plan. We follow our Zero Unjustified Bans policy: we never terminate a paid account without advance notice, log evidence, and a 48-hour remedy window, unless active illegal attacks are detected.

• throttle or restrict the service
• suspend the service for a time
• close the service for good

We watch resource use across our infrastructure to keep it healthy for everyone. This monitoring is automated and does not involve looking at your data or the content of your applications.

We may update this policy at any time. Changes apply from the date they are posted on this page, and they do not apply to anything that happened before that date. Updates never override your rights under the law.
